Anyone Can Lead
The question is will you…?
A few weeks after Linchpin and I’ve devoured another of Seth Godin’s awesome books. Tribes is a great read, and as is consistent with Seth Godin’s works, will challenge you to do something…create change…lead.
What I really liked about Tribes is that Godin explains that leaders aren’t born…they don’t have some special gene that the rest of us lost out on. In fact, he concludes that the only thing that most leaders have in common is the willingness and passion to connect a tribe and to lead.
Because of the internet and other technologies that we now have at our finger tips, we have all of the tools that we need to lead…what we need are leaders with a passion to connect us…leaders who are willing to challenge the status quo and create change.
At this point in my life, I don’t know what that passion is for me…but I know that once I find it, I’m not going to be afraid to step out and lead…I want to connect people with a shared vision and create change in this world…
Let’s not be afraid to leave our mark on this place.
